This course is designed for students who have a previous ACT composite score of 26 and above, with math score of 25 and above. This course assumes students to be strong in all four subjects. All materials are supplied except pencils and calculators. Snacks are provided at break time.
Students who have achieved this level and want to increase scores even further should consider this fast-paced course with all new materials and homework practice. Content and strategy for all four subjects (English, Reading, Math and Science) are covered.
The Extreme Course focuses on the most difficult types of questions, and may improve the student's ability to complete the test in the allotted time. Students with a 25 or lower on math or science should call for approval before registering for this course. If approved, they will be required to work through the additional Math Resources and Science Overview videos before class begins. The link to the Science Overview will be emailed a couple weeks before class begins. The Math Resources are on the "Resources" tab of the Student Page. Student should access their Student Page by logging in with their email address and last name in lowercase letters as the password.
Also included is Rocket Reader, a special program that improves reading speed. Most students feel time is a major issue for the Reading and Science sections of the test. Rocket Reader is a tool that helps students complete the test in the time allotted. Students should start work with Rocket Reader as soon as possible and continue using it until the test date.
To sign up for this course, click Add to Cart, register yourself and your student if you have not already done so. Your student can then use his/her email address and password to login to access their student page, the math resources and information about Rocket Reader. Should you need to register student for another course or log back in to make payment, you will sign in with your parent email address and password.
