CONTENT

Overall strategy for efficiently navigating Reading passages. Detailed strategies for answering specific question types. Successful pacing techniques.

STRATEGY

The course will tackle test-taking strategies specific to the Reading portion of the test. The course also covers time management and understanding how the scoring works.

INSTRUCTIONAL METHOD

Students will first be taught concepts. Next, they will engage in exercises designed to illustrate the concepts. Finally, students will receive real ACT test practice in order to apply their new skills.

HOMEWORK

Optional homework will allow students further opportunities to apply their new skills to the test.

*All course materials except calculators and pens/pencils will be provided.
*All classes will be limited in size so make sure you enroll as soon as possible.
*Your student’s seat is not secured until payment is made.
*No refunds within 7 days of course date.

NOTE: You are not able to take both the English and Math courses OR both the Reading & Science -because they are held at the same time.

Note: Registering for this class does NOT register your student for the ACT test. That must be done at the ACT website – www.act.org.
